What do you want to do with the one life you’ve got?

For me, it’s about helping people, just like you, who have been through significant challenges and adversity find hope and fulfill their potential. Or helping couples set alight the embers of their relationship and find love with one another again.

I want to guide you to answer this question for yourself. Your answer is unique, personal, and perfect just the way it is, and it would be an honor to help you uncover it.

So, you might be wondering what makes me qualified to help you with these big questions?

I indeed have many years of education and training, and a whole bunch of certifications. I'm passionate about learning, teaching, and staying up to date on the latest research. But most importantly, I have done my own personal work and have helped many clients do the same. Think of me like a Sherpa; I have climbed Mt. Everest many times and guided others along their journeys. I know the markers of progress, and I can help keep us on the path and guide us steadily forward when the unexpected arises.

I also profoundly respect that therapy is taking a risk. It’s scary to be vulnerable and trust another human being with your emotional life. It is one of the hardest and bravest things you’ll ever do. But I believe in your strength and resilience. If you’re willing to take that risk, I’m right there alongside you for each step.

My collaborative style makes me unique-and gives you an advantage!

I love to collaborate, both with you and with other providers, to help you reach your goals. In fact, my dissertation topic was “Collaboration Across Disciplines in Healthcare.”

My office is in a building that houses practitioners from many different fields— like primary care medicine, acupuncture, nutrition, and energy work.

I’ve chosen to share space with these talented professionals because I believe that no one profession, including my own, has “The Answer.” We all have contributions to make to help you feel your best and live your fullest life.

Here are a few things you may want to know about my background.

I am a clinical mental health counselor, licensed in New Hampshire, Massachusetts and Maine. I also have a Ph.D. So that means I have a background in both academics and research and clinical work. Here are a few certifications and areas of specialty.

  • PhD from Tilburg University

  • Certified EMDR Therapist

  • Certified EFT Couples Therapist & Supervisor

  • Psychedelic Somatic Institute Training

  • Co-Founder and Board of Director for Seacoast EFT

  • Co-Host of the podcast That Relationship Show, dedicated to providing expert advice for anyone looking for help in their relationships.

And on a personal note…

One of my favorite accomplishments is that my husband and I have been together for 40 years and raised two amazing adults who have created their own supportive families. We know first-hand how difficult some years are, and how rewarding it feels to be ‘empty nesters’ (and grandparents!) who survived those challenges together. Protecting and strengthening the loving bond that brought you together initially pays big dividends down the road!

It's not that it was easy; it was worth the work to get here.
